Agilera has an experienced and competent apparatus for the follow-up and use of radioactivity and radiation protection. We have been granted approval from the Norwegian Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (DSA) for our radiation protection work, based on the requirements in national regulations, as well as international recommendations and principles (ICRP, IAEA) for radiation protection of personnel, population and environment.
The radiation protection department is involved in various projects and works actively with our clients to identify all types of risks and opportunities inherent in radiopharmaceutical applications.
Radiation protection is part of Agilera’s safety and risk management work, with an emphasis on accident prevention, protection of critical processes, materials and equipment, as well as HSE.
